During his meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Maitami, Hassmann noted that the German government has allocated an additional funding of € 24 million to support the Basic Nutrition Project of the Maternal and Child Health Program (the 3rd phase) in Yemen through the World Food Programme (WFP).

In the meeting, al-Maitami and Hassmann discussed the issues related to the bilateral cooperation between Yemen and Germany and ways of boosting them to serve the common interests.

Al-Maitami hailed the German government's support to Yemen, affirming Yemen's keenness to strengthen the frames of joint cooperation with Germany.
