Gulf Cooperation  Board of Directors approved the  adoption of Yemen to the standardization of Council Gulf Arab  officially as of January 1, 2010.

 The  adoption of Yemen to  the Board  came after the Boara od Directors composed of Ministers concerned with standardization in the GCC at its  conference held in Doha, Qatar on November 22, 2009, accession of  the Republic of Yemen to the standardization of the Gulf Cooperation Council.  Directives of the Supreme Council for the Cooperation Council Arab Gulf at its twenty-ninth session in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, which was held on 29 and December 30, 2008 adoption of the accession of the Republic of Yemen to the standardization of the GCC countrie.
