permits for setting up 11 investment projects in fields of industry, tourism, agriculture and fishing at sum of 4.6 billion during the first half of 2008.
In his statement to Saba, the director of the office Khaled al-Sadi said that these projects would create temporary jobs for 337 workers.
Al-Sadi pointed out that there are two projects have been approved centrally during the first half of current year, first project was to extend Aircraft Academy at Mukalla airport at amount of YR 199 million, and the second was to set up cement factory at a total cost of YR 32 billion.
He added that the office granted letters of tax exemption for 14 investment projects and renewed letters for other 25 projects.
