The envoys considered the dialogue results a good example for the progress that can be achieved when dialogue and re-conciliatory solutions replace violence and accusations.

They insisted that all parties and groups should engage urgently in implementing the results of the national dialogue according to the official commitments they have made.

"Implementing the recommendations of the national dialogue without delay will lead to drafting a new constitution and drawing the road map for the next steps that lead to the forthcoming general and presidential elections," the statement read.

The ambassadors voiced hope for further progress, and urged those parties who are not involved at all, or are negatively involved, to do so.

"Definitely, a lot of work has to be done to enable Yemen achieve peace, security and stability. But through sticking to the swift implementation of the outcomes of the national dialogue and the GCC initiative, we see Yemenis would manage to overcome the challenges and obstacles," the G-10 said in its statement.

"Therefore, we encourage all those who have got a role in drawing the future of Yemen to work vigorously for the interest of all to make sure that the reform process and society building is going on swiftly and with an integrated and resolute manner," it added.
