Football cooperation between Yemen, KSA discussed

Association's (YFA) premises, the chairman of YFA Ahmed
al-Aisi discussed with deputy chairman of Youth Care and deputy
chairman of Saudi Football Federation , Prince Nawaf Bin Faisal Bin
Abdel Aziz fields of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two
countries in the football field.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hashid al-Ahmar, al-Aisi assured the depth of distinguished relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia in different areas of development, economic, culture, trade, and sport, indicating that the visit is considered a new addition to the strong brotherly relations between the two countries and the two Yemeni and Saudi football associations so as to contribute to opening wider horizons in various sports fields.
The two sides agreed upon forming a joint committee led by general secretaries in both Yemeni and Saudi associations to have common positions between the two countries towards several sports and Olympic issues at the continental and international levels.
Prince Nawaf voiced readiness of KSA to offer all forms of support to the Yemeni Football Association through training Yemeni cadres.
He pointed out to the implementation program for youth and sports cooperation agreement which was already signed between the two brotherly countries.
The implementation program which would be signed today includes several youth and sports programs for the two next years 2009/2010 including exchange of experiences, visits and training courses between the two leaderships and associations in different sports games.
