EU: Partnership agreement is roadmap towards democratic transition in Yemen

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, demanded in a statement issued Tuesday all political components to stop fighting in Sana'a and Marib and the rest of the country as well.
She affirmed the violence and conflict hinder the government as well as the international community to provide the needed services to help the country.
Meanwhile, the British Minister for the Middle East Affairs, Topayas Elwood, asked all conflicted parties to return to dialogue within the framework of Peace and Partnership Agreement and the national dialogue's outcomes in addition to the Gulf initiative.
In a press statement, Elwood urged everyone to work together to quickly agree on a new constitution, taking into account the national dialogue and the public consultation's outputs.
He stressed his country's support for the efforts of President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his government, and for the safety and unity of Yemen.
