The visit, at the invitation of the UAE Culture's Ministry, aims to take part in the celebrations to mark the start of Sharjah Emirate's tenure as Capital of Islamic Culture for 2014, the Minister said upon his departure.
Awbal added that he would meet, on the sidelines of the visit, with a number of his Arab and Islamic counterparts to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between Yemen and each of their countries.
