n its meeting on Monday ,Higher Committee of Crude Oil Marketing chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar approved sales of crude oil for next December 2009 at a total quantity of 4.8 million barrels.

The meeting approved to sell 2.4 million barrels produced in al-Masila petroleum field, Hadramout province, for the best offered price, 77 cents increase per barrel for the total quantity. Regarding Marib crude, the committee limited its official price with 36 cents increase per barrel, according to the best offered price, for the quantity of 600,000 barrels and the remaining available quantity of 1.8 million barrels. The committee reviewed the report of the technical committee on selling the approved quantities of crude oil for the December round, 2009.
