Charity trains refugees into crafts

During the six-month course to be organized in one of vocational institutes in Sana'a, the refugees will learn carpentry.The course would be held by the health sector at the charity in association with the UNHCR.Over the past three weeks, the charity organized three similar courses targeting 90 refugees who were later registered at vocational institutes in the country.Refugees, mostly from African Horn countries, arrive in Yemen almost daily.Yemen says the number of those refugees and displaced African people fleeing poverty and wars in their homes is exceeding 700.000 people.More than 150.000 African refugees reached the country so far this year.Recent reports noted that the people not only overburdens Yemen's fragile economy but also bring some diseases such as AIDS
