Al-Qaeda suspects kill 9 Yemeni soldiers

Nine Yemeni soldiers have been killed Friday in an ambush carried out by al-Qaeda armed suspects at Lauder district in Abyan province, south of Yemen.
The state-run almotamar.net quoted local sources in Abyan as saying that the attack was taken place as the soldiers were going to a water project in Lauder."After the attack, about 15 armed elements can escape and they are believed to be members of al-Qaeda", the sources said.
