The UNDP experts reviewed the efforts prepared to guide and prioritize the medium and long-term response to the implications of covid-19 in the protection of health services and systems during and after the crisis and in the field of food security, social protection and basic services, gender equality, environmental sustainability, response priorities and economic recovery.

The two sides touched on the economic and social priorities in the short and medium term to face the repercussions of coronavirus and determine the financing needs and the role of Yemen's partners in reconstruction and sustainable development goals and reducing the repercussions in all fields.

The two sides agreed on the importance of supporting institutional capacity building, expanding the absorptive capacities of national institutions, project units and the local authority.
