63 al-Qaeda elements escape from Yemeni prison

A security source has said that 63 al-Qaeda elements escaped on Wednesday from a prison in Mukalla city, Hadramout province, Yemen.
The source pointed out that several escaped prisoners had been convicted on terrorism charges.
According to the source, the escaped prisoners could dig a 35-meter tunnel and then attacked guards, killing a guard.The source made it clear that the security agencies pursued them, killing 3 elements and arresting two others .The security services are still going to re-detain the rest of the escapees.
