$57 million rise in Yemen's external debt by October 2010

A report issued by the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) showed that the large part of debt is for international financial institutions with over $ 3.3 billion.According to the report, Yemen's debt for the Paris club's states has reached roughly $ 1.8 billion at the end of October 2010, most of which is for Russia amounting to $1.2 billion.The report pointed out that Yemen's debt owed to the non-member States of the Paris Club reached $850 million, besides $205 million Yemen has borrowed from bodies the report do not named.Noteworthy, Yemen's foreign currency reserves have declined to $5.99 billion at the end of October 2010 compared with $6.6 billion in September of the same year.According to the CBY's report, the central bank's budget dropped YR 36 billion to YR 1.8 trillion by the end of October 2010.
